Privacy notice
This notice explains what civicmill.com collects, what Civicmill does with it, and how to reach us about it. It covers this website. The Civicmill software that municipalities use is covered by each municipality's agreement with us.
The short version
- The site has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and we don't set cookies.
- Our forms send what you enter straight to us. A Cloudflare check makes sure a person, not a bot, is sending it.
- We use what you send only to answer you. We don't sell or rent it.
- Email us and we'll show you, correct or delete what you've sent.
What we collect
If you use the demo request form, the pilot form or the request for another state, we receive what you entered: your name, title, organization or municipality, county, state, email address, phone number and any message. Our server keeps it so we can follow up, emails us a copy, and doesn't store your IP address with it.
When a form comes into view, the page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, is sending it. For that check Cloudflare receives technical signals from your browser, such as your IP address and browser details, and our server passes along your IP address when it confirms the check. Turnstile tells us only whether the check passed. Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum explains what it does with these signals.
If you email or call us, we receive your message, your email address or phone number, and any voicemail you leave.
Like any website, the site's host receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can deliver the site and protect it.
How we use it
We use what you send only to answer your request, schedule a demo, discuss a pilot, or tell you when Civicmill is available in your state. We don't sell or rent your information, and we share it only with the service providers below, which run the site, the forms, our email and our phone line.

Your browser
When you choose a state, the site saves that choice in your browser's local storage so it's still selected next time. It stays on your device and isn't sent to us. We don't set cookies.
Your choices
To see, correct or delete information you've sent us, email hello@civicmill.com and we'll take care of it.
Changes
If we change how we handle information, for example by adding analytics, we'll update this page and the date at the top first.
